What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Corps Officer position at US Navy Reserve?
About the Role
Serve your country as a part-time physician. This position does not require relocation. Navy commissioned physicians attend to service members and their families, providing high-quality medical care in a thriving practice.
As a Navy Physician and Officer in the Navy Medical Corps, you will provide medical care for Sailors, Marines, service members, their families, and humanity at large. You will handle everything a typical physician does, including diagnosing ailments, treating injuries, and saving lives.
You can move beyond routine by working at the best military medical facilities on shore, at sea, and in the field. Collaborate with top healthcare professionals, partner with international relief teams, and gain management experience that will serve you well throughout your career.
Flexible Schedule
As a Reservist, your duties will be carried out during scheduled drilling and training periods.
