About the Role:
As a part-time physician with the Navy Reserve, you have the unique opportunity to serve your country while continuing your civilian practice. This position does not require relocation, allowing you to maintain your current lifestyle.

Your Responsibilities:
- Diagnose ailments, treat injuries, and save lives

Serving as a Reservist:
As a part-time Reservist, your duties will be carried out during scheduled drilling and training periods. You'll typically work at a location close to your home, giving you flexibility to expand your medical experience in the Navy without compromising your civilian practice.
During annual training, you may serve anywhere in the world, whether at sea, in hospitals stateside, or in bases and camps in countries around the world.

Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- Age requirement: between 21 and 42 years old (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis up to age 68)
