As a Naval Medical Officer, you will provide medical care for Sailors, Marines, service members, and their families. You will diagnose ailments, treat injuries, and save lives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Navy healthcare team in providing high-quality medical care
- Collaborate with fellow military doctors and healthcare officers
- Partner with international relief teams and organizations
- Gain management experience and exposure outside your specialty
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis up to age 68)
