About This Role
This position allows you to work on a flexible schedule, with monthly drilling and annual training periods. During this time, you will have the chance to work at top military medical facilities, both stateside and abroad.
You will be working alongside fellow healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care to service members, their families, and those in need around the world.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat ailments, injuries, and save lives as a respected member of the Navy Medical Corps team.
- Collaborate with top healthcare professionals and partner with organizations like FEMA, USAID, and Project Hope.
- Operate as a leader within your focus area and gain exposure outside your specialty.
- Serving part-time as a Reservist, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods.

Requirements include:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers are granted on a case-by-case basis up to age 68)
