As a current or former Naval Flight Officer, you have the opportunity to continue your service in the Navy Reserve while pursuing a civilian career. The mission of the Navy Reserve is to provide strategic depth and deliver operational capabilities to the Navy and Marine Corps team and Joint forces, in times of peace or war.
The Navy Reserve offers a range of benefits, including state-of-the-art training, educational assistance, VA benefits, and more. You can receive 4 days of basic pay for only 2 days worked (16 hours) each drill weekend, acquire new skills, and sharpen existing ones, enhancing your civilian career.

Additionally, you can continue to hold educational opportunities through Tuition Assistance, DANTES, and the post 9/11 or Montgomery GI Bill.
