Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis up to age 68)
Serving part-time as a Reservist, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Physicians in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
