As a Navy commissioned physician, you will enjoy an accelerated career track, with opportunities to participate in humanitarian relief efforts both domestically and internationally. You will work at top military medical facilities and have access to advanced training and technology, often ahead of what is available in the civilian world.
The Navy healthcare system provides the ability to focus on medicine without the financial and business complications of private practice. You will not be responsible for start-up costs, malpractice insurance, staffing, equipment, or office management.
Additionally, Navy physicians:
- Experience excellent compensation in a thriving practice
- Enjoy manageable patient ratios for high-quality, one-on-one care
- Receive hands-on experience and Navy-funded advanced training
- Have a flexible schedule that leaves more time for family and personal pursuits
As a Navy Physician and Officer in the Navy Medical Corps, you will lead the respected Navy healthcare team in providing high-quality medical care to Sailors, Marines, service members, their families, and humanity at large when called upon.

- Working at the best military medical facilities on shore, at sea, and in the field
- Joining top healthcare professionals on the valued Navy healthcare team
