As a Navy Physician and Officer in the Navy Medical Corps, you will lead the highly respected Navy healthcare team by providing high-quality medical care for Sailors, Marines, service members, their families, and humanity at large. You will diagnose ailments, treat injuries, and save lives, and can move beyond routine by:
- Working at the best military medical facilities on shore, at sea, or in the field
- Collaborating with fellow military doctors and other healthcare officers
- Partnering with International Relief Teams and organizations
Serving part-time as a Reservist, your duties will be carried out during scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Physicians in the Navy Reserve typically work close to their homes, allowing for flexibility in expanding medical experience without compromising civilian practice. For annual training, physicians may serve anywhere in the world.
Salary : $400,000 - $600,000
