Serving as a Part-Time Navy Physician
Navy physicians serve as officers in the Navy Medical Corps, providing high-quality medical care to Sailors, Marines, service members, and their families.

Duties are carried out during scheduled drilling and training periods. Physicians typically work at a location close to their homes during monthly drilling, giving them the flexibility to expand their medical experience without compromising their civilian practice.
During annual training, physicians may serve anywhere in the world, whether at sea, in hospitals stateside, or in bases and camps in countries around the world.
