Education Opportunities
Navy Reserve Sailors can pursue Tuition Assistance, DANTES, and other education programs, including certifications and licenses available through the Navy Credentialing Opportunities Online (COOL). The US Naval War College and Senior Enlisted Academy also offer advanced education opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
To join the Navy Reserve, you must be currently in the Inactive Ready Reserve or have been off active duty for over six months. You will need to work with a Navy Officer Recruiter to begin the process of affiliating with the RC.
