Quality Engineer (Memphis, TN)

This position will be responsible for the execution of various projects such as the implementation of Statistical Process Control, new inspection technologies and their associated programming and validation. This person evaluates and supports quality control activities through training, inspection techniques, procedure preparation, and continued technical support What will you be doing? Coordinates and leads meetings to review and execute new technologies. Interfaces with suppliers and other engineers to ensure quality considerations throughout the process. Develops various inspection techniques and procedures to ensure product integrity meets design and specifications. Works with other Quality Engineers and the Metrology Lab team on the development of all product gaging. Participates as a trainer in Quality Control and Manufacturing employee training programs. Works with suppliers, management, engineers and manufacturing associates in the resolutions of quality problems and assists with capability studies and the application of statistical quality control. What will you need to be successful? (Formerly experience, education and travel) Education: BS in Science required, Engineering degree preferred Experience: 2 years expereince in Quality Control or Manufacturing Travel Requirements: up to 5% You.
