About the Role
This role will be hybrid once fully onboarded, based in our Pearl River NY office Tuesdays and Wednesdays | Full-Time | Standard Hours 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday
Our AV Project Managers are responsible for driving the overall planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion of assigned AV integration projects. As primary liaison to the client and project teams, this includes technical and administrative management, meetings attendance, schedule and budget tracking, and vendor and trades coordination. Our PMs ensure projects achieve milestone, scope, budget, quality, safety, and, most importantly, client satisfaction goals.
Salary Range
The projected salary range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 annually, contingent on relevant experience, education, skills, and certifications.
How You’ll Contribute to the Team: Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, direction, and be held accountable for all assignments performed by the AudioVisual (AV) Project Team, including Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Design Engineers, AV Technicians, AV Installers, Shop Technicians, Quality Control Engineers, and Control Systems Programmers
- Coordinate technical, architectural, and construction requirements with client teams including general contractors, subcontractors, partners, and architects
- Develop and distribute weekly status reports for all assigned projects
- Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Purchasing, and Warehouse
- Develop and distribute project plan on all assigned projects
- Identify problematic or long lead time delivery of material on all assigned projects
- Conduct site surveys and attend project meetings (as applicable)
- Identify scheduling conflicts and resolve creatively with client team, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate client supplied equipment (as applicable)
- Participate in routine production meetings with Director of Project Management and AudioVisual Leadership Team, for in-depth review of all assigned projects
- When required, travel outside metro NY area for job responsibilities
What You’ll Need to be Successful: Competencies Skills
- Proficiency in managing project cost, scope, and schedule on complex AV integration projects
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects from project inception through client acceptance
- Ability to comprehend and articulate information contained in AV architectural drawing packages
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, collaborative team player and leader
- Ability to follow and enforce process and procedure
- Adept learner and adaptable to new systems, processes, and procedures
- Computer proficiency with experience in MS Project
What We Require for the Role: Qualifications Certifications
- 3-5 years Project Management experience or 3-5 years experience in the AV industry required
- AVIXA CTS certification preferred
- A PMI Certification (PMP or CAPM) preferred, but not required
- A valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass drug and background screenings required
