Terrain Park Supervisor - Full Time, Winter Seasonal - Beaver Creek, CO

The main responsibility of the Terrain Park Supervisor is to assist the Manager in day to day operations as well as give input as to the design and layout of the Terrain Park. The Supervisor is responsible for supervising and training the Terrain Park Attendants, as well as assisting with design, fabrication, maintenance, and opening/closing of the parks which include Jumps, ½ Pipes, Rails, Boxes, Logs and Stall features. This position is also responsible for legal signage and assessing risk before guest arrive. The Terrain Park Supervisor will provide exceptional guest service, education and safety awareness throughout all Terrain Parks and will also give accurate feed back during testing and make decisions to open or close. He/She will also be responsible for communicating with other departments such as ski patrol, ski school and snowmaking. The Supervisor must be able to oversee all day and night operations in absence of Manager and supervise proper inpection and testing of features including updating daily park logs. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Advanced/expert skier/rider in the park and overall - required
- Level 7 or above ski/ride ability - required
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs (raking, shoveling & lifting large metal objects) - required
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Able to work outdoors in cold, alpine conditions for up to 8 hours/day - required
- Able to communicate effectively with others - required
- Fluent in English - required
- Able to direct guests and look out for safety concerns - required
- Previous Terrain Park experience - required
- Able to work weekends and holidays - required
- Full season committment - required
- Previous Supervisory experience - highly preferred
Schedule: 4 days per week, 7:30am-5:30pm
