As a Purchasing Intern, you will be responsible for sending quotes, rescheduling, and purchasing order placement and transition planning for commodities, As a Purchasing Intern, you will create purchase orders, spot buy purchase orders, review overstock reports, open orders, and expedite reports.

Seeking an intern available starting in Fall 2024 on a part-time basis, year-round.

Responsibilities Include~

• Work with Project buyers to secure material for design validation and project validation build
• Work on commercial document- Letter of nomination, Specific Valeo Requirement File, and commercial document
• Attend supplier meeting, and supporting meeting minute notes
• Support sourcing activity to help send request for quotation (RFQ), and requirements to suppliers.
• Work with Project Buyers to create sourcing activity
• Pull and analyze data
• Identify issues which need to be addressed by the reviewer
