Summary
Responsible to ensure that assigned events and activities are organized and executed to ensure complete satisfaction of the guests attending the events.
Job Duties
Responsible for the setup of events and areas for assigned banquet/event functions. Provide prompt, professional and courteous service during banquet meal functions while ensuring quests requests are promptly addressed. Responsible to attend BEO meetings when on property to keep up on the daily events. Responsible to complete captain report for all events. Ensure that the team returns all equipment timely. Greets and continually monitors to ensure quality guest satisfaction. Functions as the lead server for banquet events. May be asked to assist with the human resources function of the department including scheduling, training, coaching and development. Informs supervisor of guest comments/complaints. Assists in the set-up and break-down of functions when business demands are high.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations. One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
