Job Description:
You will be responsible for leading an enhancement crew to complete quality landscape enhancement projects safely and efficiently while maintaining associated equipment, paperwork, tools and materials as necessary. Services include landscaping installs, pruning, aeration and overseeding, annual installations, and more.
Sales Responsibilities:
Assists the sales team and Production Manager in the overall communication with customers to achieve project completion.
Production Responsibilities:
- Directs crew members in their daily tasks while managing safety, quality, and efficiency among the team
- Practices, monitors, and enforces safety protocols established by the company
- Monitors, inspects, and ensures job completion to Valley Landscaping’s standards within the time frame allotted
- Enforces company policies and procedures while providing positive reinforcement to crews and fulfill supervisor role in a respectful manner
- Uphold and convey a positive image of Valley Landscaping by maintaining a clean, neat, and professional appearance of trucks and trailers
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of lawn maintenance practices which include mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching, chemical applications, leaf removal, snow removal, and site cleanup. Also includes plant, insect and disease identification
- Maintains neat and organized paperwork for jobs assigned for data entry and billing needs
Requirements:
- Must have some horticulture knowledge and landscaping experience
- Must be able to direct/lead employees with diversified backgrounds
- Snow removal experience is a plus
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Stoop/bend/lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for periods of 8 hours or more
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
