We are seeking a preschool aide to join our organization!
Responsibilities:
Online training may be required prior to starting. The position starts in June.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Maintain a fun and safe learning environment
- Support the teachers in the schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Help with snacks and lunch, extracurricular classes, and transitions
- Support parents in the potty-training process
- Previous experience in childcare or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 6 units of Early Childhood Education with more planned to be completed (can be currently enrolled)
- Be able to pass a fingerprint and background check
- Professional, energetic, empathetic, works well with others
