Job Title: NextGen Support Agent

Job Summary:
General Purpose: Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Systems, the NextGen Support Agent is a crucial member of the team managing and training on NextGen, our electronic medical record software. This is an hourly position which provides essential support and training to all administrative and clinical departments during operating hours. Occasional after-hours duties are required.
The NextGen Support Agent should be highly proficient with the electronic medical record software or have a strong clinical background and a strong aptitude for computer systems. This role requires a strong working knowledge of Windows-based systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to train and support all clinical and administrative organizational staff. This role also works closely with other members of the IS department and IT roles supporting the computer infrastructure and desktop computers.
Required Experience & Skills:
Step I
- High School Diploma required. Bachelors in Business/Healthcare Administration, Education or related field preferred OR two (2) year of qualifying experience.

- Strong computer skills and experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Experience in customer service.
Qualifications and Characteristics:

- Prior support experience with EMR and Practice Management software preferred;
- Technical acumen and the ability to diagnose and resolve client issues in a timely manner;
- Previous experience or ability to learn ticketing systems;
- Ability to use remote access software to support end-users;
- Excellent customer service skills - in person and on the phone;
- Excellent communication skills - verbally and written;
- Effective listening skills;
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills;
- Demonstrate a professional image, maturity, and positive attitude;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

Working Conditions and Physical Environment:
- Job requires largely sedentary role requiring one’s ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone

Pay Range: Min $16.50 - Max $21.25 (based on qualifications and experience)
