Job Summary: Primary responsibility of the position is to provide proactive assistance to patients, providers, nursing staff and clinic operations. This includes scheduling patients, answering phones, taking and delivering accurate messages, collecting payments and maintaining patient records according to specified standards.
Responsibilities & Essential Function
Two years previous office experience. Must have the ability to prioritize work and manage time and the ability to communicate professionally in person and on the phone and have intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Previous medical office experience and bilingual skills are preferred.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma Required
- Demonstrates accuracy and high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in use of office equipment i.e 10-key, e-mail, fax machine
- Computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and Microsoft programs, experience in computerized accounting software preferred.
- 2 years experience in healthcare, human services, customer service, or related field
- Colorado drivers license: ability and willingness to drive/travel; and ability to maintain insurability under the agencys fleet insurance.
Location & type of job: This job is a part-time onsite job located in Moffat, CO.
Hourly Range & Benefits: $15.00 - $18.32
