We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrative Specialist to join our team in a full-time or part-time, on-site role supporting our dairy agribusiness operations. Responsibilities
- Professionally answer, screen, and transfer incoming phone calls
- Prepare and update office documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all office equipment (copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.)
- Oversee the company’s mobile phone plans and manage related communications and logistics
- Organize and maintain filing systems—both physical and digital
- Order and manage office supplies inventory
- Interact with vendors, service providers, and clients in a professional manner
- Assist in the preparation of reports, data entry, and documentation for compliance and internal operations
- Review and track employee time cards for accuracy prior to payroll processing
- Assist with employee records, including processing new hire paperwork and maintaining up-to-date personnel files
- Track, organize, and follow up on incoming invoices to ensure timely processing and recordkeeping
- Create and distribute newsletters and updates to local landowners and community stakeholders
- Support other administrative functions as needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Comfortable working in a rural, agricultural setting
- Experience in a dairy or agribusiness environment is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
