Position: Construction Litigation Attorney
Location: South Florida

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Attorney with at least three (3) years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex construction-related disputes, including contract claims, defect litigation, delay claims, mechanic’s liens, and related insurance coverage matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and developers in construction-related disputes.
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
- Analyze construction contracts, subcontracts, and project documentation to assess risk and liability.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and witnesses to develop litigation strategy and support case development.
- Draft and negotiate construction-related agreements when necessary.
- Appear in court and administrative hearings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law and in good standing with the [State] Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on construction law or complex commercial litigation.
- Strong understanding of construction law principles, lien law, and insurance coverage.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters with competing deadlines.
- Experience with mediation, arbitration, and trial preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience working with construction defect, delay, and payment disputes.
- Familiarity with AIA contracts and public/private construction projects.
