What Your Typical Day Will Be
- Lead all phases of infrastructure and program management, including planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
- Review and understand project and program documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, project plans, and schedules before execution.
- Execute existing Project and Program Plans in accordance with all subordinate plans, such as communication management, scope management, change management, schedule management, and quality management plans.
- Develop and revise Project and Program Plans and associated documents as needed to ensure alignment with client goals.
- Manage internal teams to complete all project-related tasks, from initiation through to completion.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of client IT infrastructure, ensuring projects meet business objectives and technical requirements.
- Continuously monitor active projects and programs to manage budgets, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Provide scheduled reports to both internal and external stakeholders on cost and schedule performance, offering strategies to address any variances.
- Initiate and administer all internal and external meetings, including kickoff, closeout, and recurring status meetings.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, IT, and Scheduling teams.
- Work closely with IT Management and dispatch teams to monitor and report changing resource demands, proactively addressing training and staffing needs for future projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT infrastructure management and program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects.
- Better than foundational knowledge in network infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, core, edge, wireless, and security. You should be confident in holding engineers accountable to technical deliverables and adept at managing scope changes.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, with experience managing projects ranging from short-term tasks to large, multi-phase initiative.
- Ability to manage and adapt to changing demands based on client needs and resource availability.
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite Toolset, including Excel, MS Project, and Visio.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Must meet all requirements to obtain a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent corporate or military training in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), VMware (VCP), Microsoft (MCSE), or similar industry-recognized qualifications.
- ITIL Certification, PMI certifications or other Project and / or Program management methodology certifications.
