Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of the general ledger.
- Experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting and cash flow statements.
- Experience with SAP or other large ERP system.
- Experience with percentage completion accounting is preferred.
- Experience in accounting research.
- Manufacturing or construction accounting background preferred.
- CPA or MBA is a plus, not required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity and completeness of the general ledger and financial statements, particularly during month-end close processes.
- Prepare and review account transactions, recurring entries, and month-end accruals to maintain accurate ledgers.
- Support the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements for group consolidation.
- Provide variance reconciliation and analysis, including account reconciliations and managerial report preparation.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the department.
- Offer guidance and support to lower-level staff.
