Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP | CFY) – School-Based

Location: San Francisco, CA

Rate Per Hour: $75 - $86/hr

Position Summary: VerbaCare is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs and CFYs) for

school-based positions across California. You will work with K–12 students in public school

settings, helping them reach their full potential through evaluation, intervention, and

collaboration with school teams. Supervision of CFYs and SLPAs is available and encouraged

for experienced SLPs.

Key Responsibilities:

 Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEP development.

 Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and

communication disorders.

 Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes.

 Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student outcomes.

 Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

 Supervise SLPAs and CFYs, if eligible and experienced.

Credentials and Requirements:

 Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

 Current or pending California Speech-Language Pathology License or Clinical Fellow

(CFY) eligibility.

 Ability to obtain or hold California Teaching Credential – Speech-Language Pathology

Services.

 DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance and TB test.

 Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Only local U.S. Residents need to Apply).

 Candidates from Southern California willing to relocate to Northern California are

welcome.
