Distillery Support Team Member

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Part-Time Distillery Support Team Member at Oxford Oaks Distillery. In this role, you will work closely with our Master Distiller in all aspects of the production process, ensuring the creation of exceptional spirits. This role involves hands-on work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position will require 1-2 days per week depending on the candidate and the distillery production schedule.

Responsibilities:

Production Assistance:

*Assist in the entire production process, including milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, and maturation. *Operate and maintain distillation equipment under the guidance of the master distiller.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

*Maintain a clean and organized production area, including equipment and storage areas. *Perform routine maintenance tasks on distillation equipment and assist in troubleshooting as needed.

Record Keeping:

*Keep detailed and accurate records of production activities, including raw material usage, distillation runs, and quality control measures. *Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration:

*Work collaboratively with other members of the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. *Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and share insights.

Safety and Compliance:

*Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. *Stay informed about and comply with all relevant regulations governing the distillation industry.

Qualifications:

*Proven experience in a distillery environment or related field. *Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures. *Excellent communication and teamwork skills. *Physical stamina to handle the demands of a production environment. *Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to alcohol production is a plus.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $12.00 - $15.00/hour.
