Job Details
Licensed Practical Nurse
7p-7am (12 hour shifts)
Provide care to patients under the medical direction and supervision of the patients' attending physician or Medical Director of facility.
Examine the resident and his/her records to determine appropriate care.
Perform administrative duties regarding assigned patients, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting etc.
Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
Be familiar with and use, as appropriate, all items of personal protective equipment offered by the facility.
Qualifications
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN, in this state.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, when dealing with the patients and/or family members.
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Salary : $30
