Administrative Assistant to Firm Administrator – Leading Legal Firm

BIRMINGHAM, AL location

A well-established and respected law firm is seeking a dependable and professional Administrative Assistant to support the Firm Administrator. This is an excellent career opportunity offering competitive pay (willing to pay what it takes) and a full benefits package.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills and a great personality. Customer service expertise with proficiency in computer applications and experience in social media. This role is ideal for someone with administrative and bookkeeping experience in a professional office setting who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Firm Administrator.
  • Assist with accounting and billing tasks as needed.
  • Write and publish the firm’s newsletter and manage social media updates.
  • Handle general office administrative duties, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Work closely with leadership to support ongoing projects and office initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior administrative and bookkeeping experience required; basic accounting knowledge a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with office software and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
