What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Toddler Teacher position at Virgin Mary Preschool?
We are currently looking for a self motivated individual who has a positive take charge loving and caring attitude to join us a toddler teacher, age of the students is between 2 -3.5. This position requires the following:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 required Early Child Development units.
- Life Scan
- First Aid and Pediatric CPR certificate
- Child Development Certificate
- T.B, MMR and Health Clearance
- Comfortable with diaper changing and potty training
- Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences
- Able to sit on the floor, squat down to child’s eye level, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be capable of caring for a large group of children alone in a classroom
Responsibilities
- Help Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for toddlers.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and behavior.
- Supervise and ensure the well-being of toddlers at all times
- Utilize classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment.
-Help with potty training and diaper changing.
Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time Available
Pay: $19.50 - $21 per hour
