Job Description
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative and supportive setting. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing full-scope anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures, including ortho, OB/GYN, and eye cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments.
- Administer anesthesia using a variety of techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
- Monitor patient vitals and respond effectively to any intraoperative complications.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week.
- 12-hour shifts (day/night/weekend rotations).
- Call rotation: 1:5.
- Years of Experience: Relevant anesthesia experience required.
- Education: Registered Nurse's License.
- Certifications:
- CRNA Certification
- BLS/ACLS
- Licenses: North Dakota Medical License (or ability to obtain).
- Personality Factors: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to values of compassion, inclusion, excellence, and collaboration.
- Proficiency in blocks, lumbar punctures, and intubation.
- Compensation for Independent Contractors:
- $220/hr (8-hour shifts/16-hour call).
- 26 weeks off per year.
- Paid professional liability insurance.
- Compensation for Full-Time Employees:
- $200/hr (8-hour shifts/16-hour call).
- Annualized: approximately $332,800-$353,600 based on 1,664 hours worked per year.
- $15,000 relocation allowance.
- Loan repayment ($50,000 forgivable loan, with monthly resident stipend).
- Benefits: BX of Montana health insurance (employee, spouse, and children), 401K with 3% employer contribution, $5,000 CME, and professional liability insurance.
