Product Owner
Job Purpose:
Technical product owners are subject-matter experts who use their technical knowledge to bridge the gap between product development and product design. They bring life to a product through the implementation of the vision and direction set forth in the product roadmap. Technical product managers have deep knowledge of the technical aspects and functions of their products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Documenting the business requirements/user stories
Defining the vision for the teams product and maintaining a cohesive vision throughout the process
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on changing requirements
• Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
• Working with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints. All the tasks described in these Job Duties and Responsibilities are the essential functions of this job

Product Owner Qualifications / Skills:
- Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
- Customer first, ABCD thinking mind set
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
- High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of product or project development experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
- Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
- Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
- Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, APIs, real time alerts, etc.
- Experience of Title Insurance / Real Estate is preferred
