We are currently looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our team. The person in this role will be responsible for organizing inpatient and outpatient claims for electronic or hard copy mail and forwards to appropriate third party payers. Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
