What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Vital Sleep Care, PC?
Adhere to the current practice standards.
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, as well as complying with legal regulations.
Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
Ability to be at work regularly and on time.
Team player and willing to learn
Room patients
Get vital signs and document in EMR
Document and update medication and medical history
Answer patient calls and communicating messages to/from Physician
Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
Set up patients for home sleep studies (training will be provided)
Handle CPAP orders (training will be provided)
Any experience with CPAP machines and masks is a big plus
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 22 per week
