What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at VITALSKIN PHYSICIAN MANAGEMENT LLC?
The Position: -
As a full-time Medical Assistant at our Bourbonnais location, you will ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient, comprehensive care. You will help educate patients and assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practice’s standards and procedures. MUST be able to commute between Bourbonnais AND Millennium Park locations WHEN needed!
You Have: –
At least a high school diploma or equivalent. Certified Medical Assistant preferred. At least one year of Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery experience preferred. EMR experience; preferably Nextech or comparable software. CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred. You must have Basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills. Appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; compliance with all HIPPPA Regulations. Communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. Ability to work as a team member. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excels under pressure. Empathetic with patients’ needs and concerns. Attentive to detail. Ability to convey a positive, professional attitude in all dealings with others.
Your Schedule –
Mondays to Fridays, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some days Clinic starts at 8:00 AM or end at 6:00 PM. Rotating HALF days on Saturdays – 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You may be asked to provide coverage at Millennium Park location. Travel reimbursement is provided. Clinical dress code is BLACK scrubs!
