What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at VITALSKIN PHYSICIAN MANAGEMENT LLC?
You must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery experience. Certified Medical Assistant and Scribing experience preferred but not required. EMR experience - preferably Nextech or comparable software. CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred. You must also have basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills. You must have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; be able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. In addition, you must have the ability to work as a team member; manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excels under pressure; be empathetic with patients’ needs and concerns; be attentive to detail; and, be able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all your interactions with others.
