We are looking to hire a Cable Technician to support our Voice Communication and Technologies division. Are you looking to get your foot in the door in the IT industry? Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pulling, routing and termination of CAT 5e and CAT 6 cable onto jacks and patch panels
Terminating phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
Installation of wiring for a variety of systems including, but not limited to, Access Control, Overhead Paging, Voice/Data Networks, and Security.
Maintain a clean work environment
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude
Ability to take direction and be self-motivated
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Cabling experience is preferred, but not required
