Housing Specialist (CV898-219) - Safe Return Division
We are looking for a Housing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Program Director and be an integral part of the team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Locate affordable permanent housing opportunities for clients residing in Volunteers of America Delaware Valley Housing & Supportive Services programs
- Be responsible for seeking housing resources and forming reputable relationships with housing providers to secure affordable permanent housing opportunities for clients
Credentials/Experience
- Bachelor's degree OR at least 5 years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing or human services
- Demonstrated ability and mastery of the following skills:
- verbal and nonverbal communication
- interpersonal skills
- customer service, sales or marketing and knowledge of the homeless population and the housing industry
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
