What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor (CV51-221) - Operations Division position at Volunteers of America Delaware Valley?
The successful applicant for the position of Janitor will report to a Program Manager/Program Director.
They will take responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation in facilities and grounds assigned to them by their Program Manager/Director. Must have experience with stripping, waxing and buffing floors. They will report maintenance needs and will handle stock inventory, and the ability to strip, wax and buff floors. Only those applicants with a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED should apply. They will have good interpersonal skills and the capacity to interact effectively with both clients and other team members in situations that can sometimes be stressful. Applicants must be fit and healthy and have a minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED and experience in janitorial/housekeeping.
