The Employment Placement Specialist is responsible for providing job search assistance, job placement and retention services, and follow up services for clients enrolled in the program. The incumbent will develop training on resume writing and interview techniques, and other soft skills needed for client success. Other essential duties also include developing and hosting internal job fairs and maintaining a database of job placement resources. The Employment Placement Specialist serves as liaison with employers, clients, and other program staff.

The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma and one (1) year of experience in guidance, counseling or job placement. Demonstrated typing, word processing, computer, Internet and phone skills required. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must.
