What are the responsibilities and job description for the DRY GOODS ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER position at Von Maur?
As an Assistant Store Manager , you support the store manager in motivating associates to help customers create their own personal style and assisting with all operations. You provide one-of-a-kind service through relationship building, sharing product knowledge, and presenting a clean and exciting store.
What You'll Do :
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service - train, coach and lead by example
- Develop relationships to grow store business
- Execute all duties of a sales associate and achieve individual sales and account goals
- Assess associate performance to improve the quality of service the customer receives, increase sales, and meet store goals
- Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and store needs
- Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts

The expected base wage for this Illinois based position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr with commission
