What are the responsibilities and job description for the Johnson Student Accounts Office Assistant- Student Employment (Workstudy Eligibility Required) position at VTSU?
Answer incoming phone calls and redirect where necessary. Phones can be pretty hectic during certain times of the semester. Once you are more familiar with the process, you can answer general questions
- Sort mail
- Enter checks received in the mail and then record them into the mail log
- Scanning documents into Image Now (electronic file system)
- Verifying scanned documents
- Assist in preparing mailings
- Filing
- Copying
- Assisting with any special projects.
Good customer service skills; basic MicroSoft Office knowledge and typing/keyboarding abilities. Working hours are weekdays between 8:30am-4pm. We are not open in the evenings or weekends.
