What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Faculty of Theatre Arts position at VTSU?
Vermont State University's Theater Arts program at Castleton is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach Acting I, Acting IV, and Plays in the City for the Spring 2025 semester.
This one-semester position ranges from 1/21/2025 through 5/16/2025 and the courses are scheduled as follows:
THA 2121 S01 Acting I- 2:00PM- 03:15PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays
THA 3124 S01 Acting IV- 10:50AM -12:05PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays
THA 1010 Theater in the City -Online
Teach Acting classes from beginner to advanced as well as the travel class to New York.
Job qualifications:
- Master of Fine Arts in Acting or Directing Theatre
- Professional Acting Experience
- Three years of professional theatre experience
- Previous teaching experience at the college level.
