Associate Attorney

An established law firm is seeking an Associate attorney to help the growing client base. The ideal candidate is licensed in North Carolina and has 0 to 3 years of legal experience. While a background in complex civil litigation is ideal, we are open to candidates without that specific experience who demonstrate strong research and writing skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently without micromanagement.

Recent admitted to the NC State Bar are welcome to apply.

Primary Practice Areas

• Commercial litigation.
• Business disputes and dissolution.
• Construction disputes.
• Contract disputes.
• Fraud and related civil issues.
  
  

Expectations

• Traditional billable hour structure.
• Expectation of 20-30 billable hours per week, with encouragement to exceed that.
• Flexibility in schedule, but consistent in-office presence is preferred.
• Candidates should either be local to Western North Carolina or have a desire to relocate.
