Project Engineer - Land Development (2-5 Years' Experience)
Location: Annandale & Chantilly, VA (On-site, 5 days/week)

land development and civil site design
to join their growing team in
Annandale & Chantilly, VA.
This is a full-time, in-office role offering career stability, hands-on mentorship, and exposure to impactful, high-profile projects across Northern Virginia.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- EIT Certification preferred but not mandatory
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with land development and civil site design
- Strong experience in Northern Virginia jurisdictions
- Diverse project background including residential, commercial, mixed-use, data centers, and storage facilities
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of grading, SWM, erosion/sediment control, and utility design
- Ability to develop full construction plan sets and make well-informed design decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates with steady work tenure strongly preferred (no frequent job changes)
Key Responsibilities
- Draft CAD drawings and design details for site and subdivision plans
- Site layout, grading, and utility design
- Roadway design (horizontal and vertical)
- Preparation of erosion and sediment control plans
- Perform stormwater management (SWM) and hydrologic computations
- Execute pavement design and sight distance analysis
- Develop site work quantity take-offs
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (engineers, architects, etc.)
