- Prepare accurate estimates for metal framing, drywall, ceilings, and related scopes
- Review and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Establish labor benchmarks and pricing strategies
- Develop bid strategies based on market analysis and project conditions
- Maintain vendor relationships for competitive material pricing
- Lead bid reviews, proposals, and project handoffs
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure execution aligns with estimates
- Identify value engineering options and cost-effective solutions
- Support client relationships with clear and professional communication
- 5-7 years of estimating experience in commercial drywall and related scopes
- Strong understanding of blueprints, specifications, and construction schedules
- Proficient with On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, or similar estimating software
- Proven ability to build and maintain client/vendor relationships
- Strong cost analysis, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling specific to drywall
- College or trade school education preferred
- Based in Maryland or the DC Metro Area
