What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor of Facilities and Grounds position at Wadsworth City School District?
DESCRIPTION OF JOB
Manages day to day operations which relate to facilities including maintenance and the cleaning of school buildings and grounds. Ensures that all tasks performed by facilites (custodial and maintenance) personnel are of high quality and meet professional standards. Responds to emergencies on a 24 hour on-call basis. Will ensure proper training of the facilities staff (custodial and maintenance) in providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the school District. Such training includes, but is not limited to, safety practices, maintenance of facilities (buildings and grounds), power machinery operation and its maintenance, understanding the application of any chemicals used in caring for the District’s facilities, and basic cleaning techniques. Promotes safety practices and procedures consistent with OSHA/PERRA Standards and Ohio Administrative Code.
Salary Range: $73,855 - $90,156
