What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Wallace Ford of Kingsport?
Wallace Ford of Kingsport (formerly Fairway Ford) is seeking to hire an Express Service Advisor for its Quick Lane operation and/or a Service Advisor for the Service Department.
The Express Service Advisor will be responsible for writing up customer service requests for general maintenance items like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, etc. The Express Service Advisor will dispatch the work to Technicians, keep customers informed of the maintenance status, collect payment, and redeliver customers their vehicles when service is complete. This is a great opportunity for someone with past automotive experience or for someone who is looking to start their career in automotive.
The Service Advisor position will include all responsibilities as the Express Advisor and will require previous experience working in an automotive service department as an advisor. The Service Advisor position requires being knowledgeable about mechanical/electrical repairs and the ability to provide great customer service. Previous experience using CDK as a dealer management system is a plus.
