Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or equivalent education and experience required
- 3 years of experience in HR required
- Experience with HRIS system, ADP preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus

What You’ll Do: The HR Generalist serves as a day-to-day resource in all areas of HR. This includes employee relations, performance management, recruitment, employee records, benefits administration and HR projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited it:
- Acts as a first point of contact to employees for HR needs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management and training.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to the appropriate staff.
- Schedules interviews and works with outside recruiter as needed.
- Works with outside consultant to move Wallace’s DEI initiatives forward.
- Intakes formal employee complaints prior to investigations.
- Provides reports to leadership and other departments as requested.
- Administers benefits programs and arranges annual open enrollment with broker.
- Maintains accuracy of benefits enrollments, terminations, COBRA administration, resolves billing and membership issues, and processes employee leaves of absence.
- Manages employee Leaves of Absence process and communication, utilizing HR Consultant for escalated or completes leaves.
- Facilitates new hire onboarding process including offer letters, scheduling and conducts new hire HR orientation.
- Prepares separation materials and conducts exit interviews.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of personnel files.
- Maintains, and, as appropriate, distributes current employee information, employee handbook, and other communications.
- Manages performance review process including, notifying managers of due dates, facilitating 360 review process and following up to ensure process is completed.
- Manages Personnel Change Notice signatures and forwards to Payroll as appropriate
- In accordance with procedures, supplies information to authorized persons and/or agencies.
- Proactively identifies potential issues and communicates these to HR Consultant or leadership team.
Wallace Team Member
- Update policies and procedures as needed.
- Maintain strict patient, staff, and organization confidentiality.
- Work as member of the executive administrative team.
- Provide excellent customer services to Wallace stakeholders.
- Maintain positive working relationship with all staff in all departments.
