As a Work Tool Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring availability of work tools to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, assign, and supervise the daily activities of your assigned team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing, receiving, tracking, and maintaining all new Caterpillar and Allied tool inventory. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Rental Team and Sales Coordinators to optimize to procure work tools to fulfill customer orders. Your leadership, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills will be essential in maintaining a well-functioning and productive work environment. Work is performed under limited supervision and is somewhat complex.

What You'll Do
- Plan, assign, and supervise the daily activities of assigned team.
- Interpret, communicate and implement company/departmental policies and procedures; enforce all city, state, federal and company safety policies and procedures.
- Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service.
- Recommend short-term/long-term goals and business strategies in collaboration with management.
- Analyze and resolve work problems; or assist workers in solving work problems.
- Manage, receive, track and maintain all new Caterpillar and Allied work tool inventory in accordance to policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate specifications for descriptions of work tool inventory, pricing, and serial numbers.
- Perform and supervise inventory at main stocking stores.
- Analyze inventory trends and needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers on location, tracking and purchasing work tools.
- Oversee work tool invoicing for transport and purchase of work tools.
- Collaborate with coordinators (sales and rental) to ensure the machines are properly equipped before delivery.
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Supervise the yard cleanliness and alignment for the assigned facilities.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise assigned Work Tool Yard Specialists. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Bachelor's degree in business from a four-year college or university; or 3-5 years of similar work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of work tools and how they relate to prime products.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of procurement and inventory management.
- trong attention to detail and a commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills to interact with employees, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with multiple people internal to the dealership and external vendors.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of the overall working of the dealership.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Moderate computer skills. Familiar with web navigation, experience working with databases.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
