We are currently seeking a professional and experienced CDL Driver to join our team at Waste Connections in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck and transporting waste materials to designated disposal sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
Pay: $24.50
Hours: Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays. Start time is 4 am.

Job Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rolloff Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate a heavy-duty truck and handle various waste materials
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent driving skills and the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy waste containers
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow established safety procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
- Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport waste materials to designated disposal sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation
- Secure waste containers properly on the truck to prevent spills or accidents during transportation
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of waste materials
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians
- Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents
- Report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repairs
