Waste Recovery Systems is looking to add experienced and qualified CCTV Operators to our west Michigan team. The right candidate will have at least 2 years experience, be PACP certified with an understanding of underground infrastructure. A positive attitude, good work ethic and communication skills are essential. This individual will be expected to occasionally work in confined spaces. A chauffeur's license with clean driving record is required for this position. Emergency jobs during non-regular work hours will be on a rotational basis.
Position Overview: Operates CCTV televised monitoring equipment to perform assessments and inspections to identify issues within pipeline systems. Responsible for administration of televised data.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Work efficiently in a team and individually
- Troubleshoot any problems that arise on, or off, the jobsite
- Take part in on-call emergency jobs; required (approx. 1 week per month)
- Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
- Maintain comprehensive service documentation
- Follow all company safety protocol
Qualifications
- Prior experience CCTV, min 2 years
- PACP certification
- Chauffeur’s License - Clean Record Required
- Ability to lift, up to, 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime if needed
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions
- Maintain a good work ethic and attitude
- Ability to maintain service documentation daily
- Ability to apply common sense understanding
- Ability to carry out written or oral instructions
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Use an objective approach toward decision making
